Which role is right for me?

Both our Care Assistant and Live-in Carer roles involve delivering high quality Care at Home, however, the role slightly differs between the two. It’s important to understand which role would suit you and your lifestyle best.

Our Care Assistant jobs include travelling to different client’s homes to provide care and support with daily household tasks. As a Live-in Carer, you’ll move into the client’s home to provide round the clock support whenever it’s needed. Learn more about the role of a Care Assistant and the role of a Live-in Carer to understand which would be the most suitable for you.

Do I need experience to apply?

You don’t need any previous experience to apply for one of our Care Assistant or Live-in Carer positions, although it could support your application. Our exclusive Academy will provide all the training you’ll need when you join our Team so you’re ready to provide our award winning care from day one.

Do I need a driving licence and/or a car?

To join our Team as a Care Assistant, you’ll need a driving licence and access to a vehicle. This is so you can travel between client’s homes to deliver our Home Care. Alternatively, you may not need a driving licence and access to a vehicle if you choose to join our Team as a Live-in Carer. Chat with our Jobs Team to learn more.

Where will I work?

We provide award winning Home Care throughout the South of England. When you join our Team, you’ll be supporting elderly people in your local area. Search for a vacancy in your area to learn more about our care jobs near you.

Which hours will I work?

We offer a range of different contracts to suit your needs and lifestyle. Some of our Team members choose full time contracts with guaranteed hours while others opt for flexible working or part time contracts. To learn more about the options available to you, we suggest chatting with our Jobs Team.

When will I start?

Applying for a job at Alina Homecare only takes a couple of minutes and you could start your new role in just a matter of weeks!

After we receive your application, a member of our Team will call you for a quick chat before booking an interview. If you’re successful, we’ll run some pre-employment checks including a DBS check and collect references. You’ll then complete your induction training via our exclusive Academy.
